Is it possible to have an address look up service in Schemeserve whereby at the point of application a client can enter a postode / house number and then the address is automatically filled?  If so how do we go about this and what are the costs if any?

Hi Laura,

You can indeed, we have a number of clients using this.

We use ePostcode - you should be able to see their costings on the web.

If you decide to take this route we then set up an account for you and advise ePostcode that you are a SchemeServe user - all of the details go in the My Company, Website Tab, we add these for you.

If this function is enable a Get Address button will appear in the questions against the question type Client.Address.

Regards

Colin

Thanks Colin.  We actually seem to have an account with them already and Juliet keeps asking me to sort it out.  So, what's the next step?

Hi Laura,

If you already have an account then on the My Company, Website Tab enter ;

The Webservice URL which will be : http://ws.epostcode.com/uk/postcodeservices.asmx

The Webservice Username - You should have that

The Werservice LicenceId - You should have that as well

Save the changes and if you have Client.Address in your questions the Get Address Button should appear.

Regards

Colin
