Should I be using a different name for ClientAddress in the question editor

I have a scheme where it asks the client to input the risk address in the questions set and then after they press finish at the end it asks for the client address.

I currently have the question in the question set as clientaddress but do I need to change this as when I issue documents  with a seperate policy address to the correspondence address and get the same address in both on the documents as they are both called  clientaddress in the dynamic fields?

Hi Jon,

Its the question type client.address that auto completes the client details page not the question name.

So you can use client.address as the type on risk address if you are not asking for the client address in the questions but this will then populate the client details screen with the risk address provided

This can then be amended and the one saved in the questions will be retained and the client will use the one created in client details

Hi Jon,

On that case then do you have a different address in the risk address details and the client details ?

What dynamic field do you have in the document template ?

OK - so you will get whatever was finally saved in the client details screen twice

You probably need change the set up of risk address so that is not using the type client.address and also then use the dynamic field that points to this question in your template.

You will then retain and can print either address in your documents
