I'm not entirely sure that this is correct. I have been working on a new quote doc format and found that a table needs to be 710px wide to fit a page. This may be different for image widths.

Answer
Hi,
The size that seem to work well for tables on a document are :-
about 530 pt or 700-710px wide
a pt is wider than a px. 6pt is about 8px.
For the header and footer image 1200px @ 96 DPI should do the job.
