I would like to include the date a policy was put on cover (the transaction date) on reports and in documents. I don't believe this is currently possible but is a requirement of one of our underwriters.
Comments
Colin, is this likely to be in the January release?
This feature has now been released to Labs.
The Activity Log will now display the dates a Case has had its Status changed to On Cover.
In Reports there is now a field called Record Last On Cover that will pick up the most recent of these - this can be used in Bordereau reporting as requested above.
Colin,
If working with an MTA, will this access the date the MTA was put on cover or will it give the transaction date of the first/renewal policy?
Is the same field name also available in documents and/or in the rule builder?
Cheers.
Mark.
Hi Mark,
It will be for the actual record whether New, Renewal or Adjustment as it comes from the Activity log.
Any fields with Record in description are as it suggests as record level, if its from the original it would always be policy.
Just to update you this has now been removed from Labs and will only be available when the release goes out.
This is also only available as a function in Reports not Documents.
Regards
Colin
Colin,
Thanks for the update.
I assumed that this would also be available in documents and am a bit surprised to see that it will not. At least 2 of our insurers insist on this date being put onto schedules and will not accept otherwise.
The feature is not really of use to us at all without both parts. Can this be considered?
Best regards,
Mark
Hi Mark,
We will bear that one in mind for a future development - I think it would be very useful.
Thanks
Colin
Not yet available in Labs
Report function is completed /Documents is still outstanding at this stage
Post changed back to Planned as not complete
Colin
You will know that I have requested this feature over the past few months... it not only meets underwriting requirements, but makes the administration of cases considerably easier. So gets my vote iwth a triple thumbs up
Colin,
Can you please let me know if this feature is now available and where?
Documents?
Matrix?
Rules?
Reports?
Can you also let me know if it is/will be available in if statements?
Cheers.
Mark
Hi Mark,
This feature is currently not available - the work completed to date is in the reports area only and it will use a new field called Record Last On Cover.
I will keep you updated as to when this available and if the scope of the feature is being extended into other areas.
Colin/Adam.
This one has been going round in circles and I'm still not sure where we are with it. Can you please let me know whether this feature is now available on reports or when it will be? A number of our brokers are being required by insurers to report the date the policy was actually set to "On Cover" status and there is currently no other way to ascertain this information.
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Best regards,
Mark
